Today Brandi and I went up to Skalkaho for a training run. Brandi lent me four of her dogs so I could have six dogs. She lent me Tank, Shila, Okanogan and Paluk. When we first started out Tank and Okanogan were in lead. Nora and Paluk in swing. And Thor and Shila were in wheel. Tank did awesome in lead! We went 12 miles in all. Their tug lines were tight the whole way! (well... all of them were tight except for Nora's) :) Brandi took the four of her dogs that were left. She said it was a good run!
When we turned around at the 6 mile mark, Tank was determined he was going to turn the team back around and go further! So I switched Thor around with Tank. Thor also did awesome in lead! We were flying on the way down! I just can't wait until Thor and Tank have more experience leading so we can have two crazy pullers in lead!
