To start this off, June 30 was Mountain to Meadow half marathon, 5k fun run and canicross. My mom and I were in the canicross division. It was only us, but that was expected because this was the first year we had it and it wasn't advertised very well. I had Shila and Thor, and Mom had Nora. As you can guess, Thor, Shila, and I won. :) Thor and Shila went so fast I got two giant blisters on my heels (like owner like dog. :) ). They are both about the size of a half dollar and that is no exaggeration.
After that, we went to Glacier National Park for a couple of days with our Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. We went on a gorgeous hike up to a lake. The three pictures below are from the hike.
some beautiful mountains

The next day my cousin Michelle, Aunt, and I went for a horse ride. It was SO fun!! It was so cool to ride a horse again. (they didn't allow pictures to be taken from the horses or else I would have pictures to show you)

Right after that we headed up to a camp (Camp Sanders) for Family camp. Then right after that, Kids Camp. I LOVE Camp Sanders so much! It is like a second home to me. There were some awesome speakers at Family Camp. Also, a beautiful half Malamute, half Siberian Husky male was wandering around, and followed mom and dad back to the camp when they went on a run. He made his home outside our camper (probably because he liked to play with my huskies). I named him Kodiak, or Kody for short. We thought he would go back to his owners house during the night, but when we got up in the morning he was still there. It seemed like Kody wanted to stay with us (I would have been perfectly happy with that). We drove him around to different houses and eventually found his owner. He was a very nice and beautiful husky and I was sad to see him go. Though he had no interest in pulling at all, so he would have probably been a bad sled dog. Oh well.

Kids Camp was amazing as always! This year was my first year on staff and I was so excited! There are some of my friends that I only see once a year there too. Kids Camp and seeing the people there is always the highlight of my summer. I can't wait until next year!!
I hope you are having as awesome a summer as I am!
